The client needs an SSRS package developed that will be capable of Exporting 5 views from a SQL Server database.
As a user of an ASP.Net Core web application, they want to be able to select an object in a webpage to export to an excel file. The application will pass a number of variables to SSRS. SSRS will then filter 5 views and export each view to a tab within an excel file. The first tab is a details sheet and will have a set layout. The remaining tabs are data ranges, set directly from the sql views. Each of these tabs will have the ability to highlight a cell based on the values in another check cell. e.g the last column of every view has comma separated details of all cells requiring highlighting.
Finally, this is a critical step that may be hard to achieve in SSRS, the application needs to be able to merge an excel file that resides on a shared drive with the newly created file. So if the new file has 5 sheets and the shared drive file has 3, the final file will have 5 sheets. The mapping of the shared drive file is stored in a table in SQL and will be related to the parameters passed to SSRS.
The successful candidate will be given access to a dev SQL Server and will be given a sample share drive file.
