Cloud Label Printing
A web app that could handle their repairing flow as well as payrolls
The client approached us with a very specific requirement.
They were looking for someone professional to create a card template that employees could log in and edit details of the product and then print out. They needed approximately 4 cards per 8x11 sheet. They needed us to create a system to pull in the brand logo automatically when they searched for a brand. Some items would be dropdowns and some in the form of text edits that they could put in the info section.
They wanted us to develop an API lookup to find this info in their POS system.
It was designed for small-scale stores like OrbitFix. They needed a web app that could handle their repairing flow as well as payrolls.
It had four major modules, Inventory, Labels, Video recording & Payroll. Along with the integration of the Dymo Printer. Uses Google Spreadsheet API
Inventory: Along with CRUD operations, we also built a live inventory status bar and a nested searching feature
Label: We used Dymo Printer and its SDK. We used it to generate barcodes for refund & warranty labels
Video: The video recording module was for documentation purpose and auto saved to a user’s Google Drive for easy retrieval
Payroll: Users were allowed to use this application as an attendance app. And admin only had an access to their payroll / hourly reports.
